Founder - Jesse ROth

Rexton films was founded in 2016 by Jesse Roth.Jesse is a filmmaker, editor and writer based in the South West of England. He graduated from Bath Spa University in 2010 with a BA in Creative Music Technology, specialising in composition for moving image and sound design.

 His professional life began at Bristol-based agency, Echoic where he completed sound design and composition work for household names such as Coke, Nike, Sainsbury’s, Bacardi, and Cereal Magazine. As his career progressed, Jesse became interested in documentary production, initially creating short-form promotional pieces for art galleries and exhibitions, and later working on long-term projects such as the award-winning Escape Artist: The Highs and Lows of Chris Dobrowolski.(2020)

 Jesse is also highly interested in fictional narrative film production, having written and produced several short films which have been well received at national film festivals. .
